WELCOME to NYACK CENTER ...more than a community building, a place for building community.
Nyack Center was founded in 1990 by a group of concerned citizens and is housed in a renovated historic church in the heart of Nyack, N.Y. Nyack Center serves the Nyacks and the larger community of Rockland County by supporting children, youth and families through educational and recreational programs. This non-profit organization provides a welcoming gathering space for vital before-and-after school programs, cultural celebrations, and community events. Nyack Center more than a community building; a place for building community.

What’s love got to do with it? …Everything. For 90 weeks, we have lived on love at Nyack Center. Thanks to community love, over 70,000 Breakfasts and lunches, thousands of bags of groceries, thousands of masks, hundreds of bags of personal hygiene products, hundreds of meals have been distributed out of Nyack Center since March 16, 2020. We have served over 8,0000 children, hundreds of families and hundreds of senior citizens. Although hope is on the horizon, we will continue to provide these community supports for the foreseeable future. We have not been able to rent the center since March 2020, a major revenue loss that helps fund our free and low-cost programs. Can you show Nyack Center some love? Please donate online below.
